Stella: Aquila is a constellation whose name translates to ‘eagle’, and represents the bird that carried Zeus/Jupiter’s thunderbolt in Greek/Roman mythology. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquila_(constellation). The brightest star in this constellation is Altair, known in Japanese as Hikoboshi.
Aquila boosts Phantasma skill damage by 20%. Here’s a look at Assist daemons that further boosts skill damage:
|Daemon||Targeting||Skill DMG boost||Limitations|
|Stella: Aquila||Phantasma team members||20%||Takes effect once to the team.|
|Chochin [HW2]||2 Highest ATK team members||15%||Final wave only; takes effect once to the team.|
The key difference between Aquila and Chochin, vs Eihort, Chaos and Tristan is the ability to bond Aquila and Chochin to reserve daemons and have their abilities activate on the daemons on the team. Eihort, Chaos and Tristan have to be bonded to the daemon you want their effect to act on, which means that they are in direct competition with other assist daemons like Basho and Saigyo. Aquila and Chochin are therefore of greater utility being able to take effect from the reserve spot, or from being bonded to a supporting daemon in the team, allowing your main damage dealer to carry another assist bond that further boosts his/her damage output.
Between Aquila and Chochin your selection would depend on whether you are using a Phantasma based damage dealing team. If you are not using Phantasma attackers then Aquila is irrelevant. Chochin’s final wave limitation is a minor issue, because the final wave is where you want your boosts to activate on the bulk of game modes anyway. And there’s no reason why you cannot use them both.
LB3 is also relatively attainable for most players – do 3 million DMG to the GCQ boss and obtain the level 30 copy with your guild for a total of 4 copies.
Emilio’s Rating: 9.1 / 10. I think this is really good. A reserve slot taker, potentially boosting the entire team with 20% skill damage with no wave based drawbacks. I would say however that non Phantom’s do appear to get some love from time to time, so it’s quite likely that you still wouldn’t use this despite it’s strength, but with the relative ease at which this can be acquired (3mil damage is still a lot for weaker or newer players) if you can get it there’s no reason not to.
